Who is the call intended for?

Entrepreneurs who want to invest in research, development, and innovation through international collaboration

Who can apply?

Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in research and development (R&D). Research institutions may participate as project partners.

The call encourages cooperation between SMEs and international partners in the implementation of research and development activities. Projects must include partners from at least two participating countries. The list of eligible countries is available here.

Which costs are eligible?

Eurostars support for innovative projects can be used for employee salaries, equipment depreciation and small inventory, external service costs, travel expenses, and other development-related costs for projects lasting up to 36 months.

What is the application deadline?

Applications can be submitted from July 9, 2026, until September 10, 2026. Applications must be submitted online through the Eurostars platform and physically to HAMAG-BICRO. The EUREKA Secretariat announces calls for proposals in the Eurostars program twice a year (March and September).

Total budget of the call:

Up to EUR 200,000

Aid intensity:

Up to 60% for micro and small enterprises, and 50% for medium-sized enterprises.
